|Day Camp Programs |
Scouting means "doing." Everything in Scouting is designed to have the boys and girls doing things. Activities are used to achieve the aims of Scouting - citizenship training, character development, and personal fitness. Everyday at Day Camp, boys and girls are engaged in activities that will work towards these aims.
We offer Day Camp for boys and girls completing grades K through 4. Boys and girls completing Kindergarten may attend but must have an adult partner. Non-registered Scouts can attend, but must pay an additional $25 to be registered and covered for liability. Campers participate in age appropriate outdoor adventures under the guidance of caring, friendly, and qualified staff.
The Day Camp program includes BB gun and archery shooting, arts and crafts, nature and Scout skills such as fire-building and outdoor cooking. Sports, games, swimming and boating (select locations only) are very popular day camp activities. Plus we will have some just plain old fun. Activities are age-appropriate and gender specific.
From worms to sweat, BBs to basketball, and hammers to cannon-balls. At the end of the day, all boys and girls almost always have two things in common, they leave camp exhausted and wish they could stay.
There will be bussing this year for Bullowa only.
|Cub Scout / Webelos Overnighter Programs |
Cub Scout Program
Parent & Son Overnighters are back and are being held at Camp Nooteeming and Camp Bullowa. Boys who are currently Tiger Cubs, Wolves, Bears, or Webelos and their adult partners/parents will share a fun-filled weekend beginning Saturday morning and ending Sunday around Noon.
Our Staff will help you learn some of the skills for your next year of Cub Scouting. Parents and Scouts will participate together. Wolf and Bear programs include archery, crafting neckerchief slides, beginning Scout skills and field activities while the Webelos will enjoy BB guns and choose from Outdoorsman, Naturalist, or Forester pins.
All will share the fun of campfires, skits, songs, and the pool at Camp Nooteeming. This is a great weekend for Dens and Packs to enjoy together. Round-up your den and pack members and register now! Pairs bring and sleep in their own tents. All meals are provided.
Suit up Webelos Scouts for a Super Adventure! We have an overnighter full of outdoor adventure awaiting you. Webelos Scouts are encouraged to attend this great overnighter as dens, but are welcome to come as individual pairs. A special weekend has been developed for Webelos to meet their need for more advanced and involved activities, individual achievement, and team challenges to prepare them to become Boy Scouts.
On Saturday, scouts will participate in welcoming activities and will work their way through the "Flight" Adventures and First Aid challenge course areas as they learn the skills from various Webelos activity pins.
Pairs bring and sleep in their own tents. All meals are provided. This is a great overnighter for new and established Webelos dens to enjoy together.
Those Partners that wish to arrive early and stay overnight Friday can, but are on their own for any emergencies, etc. AND must let us know they are doing so by clicking the box on the registration site.
