The 2010 Mission of the Hudson Valley Council Building on the Promise:
Adventure, learning, challenge, responsibility - the promise of Scouting is all this and more.Through our 2010 programs we will reintroduce our community to the contribution Scouting has made in the Hudson Valley and advance and elevate this Council, our Scouters and Scouting as a visible and viable part of this community. We will build on all that Scouting can be, and with a firm and proud hold on our past and a bright outlook towards our future we will provide as many youth in our community as possible the opportunty to say "yes" to Scouting
Focused on the Future:
We are not charged to reach a finale; rather this will be a comma in our passage,
from which we will continue to write our story and work to fulfill the goals of the Council Strategic Plan to the betterment of our Community, our Scouts and the Scouting Program.
