Day Camps

The Hudson Valley Council provide many summer camp activites for Cub Scouts to participate in. There are 5 difference Day Camp experiences that your Scout can enjoy. Under the supervision of trained staff, boys are grouped in dens and work on age appropriate activities. Archery! Crafts! Nature! Shooting Sports! Science! Athletics! It is a great way for your son to spend part of his summer!

 

 

Parent/Son Weekends


Enjoy a weekend of fun and adventure for the Cub Scout and their partner. Events include, BB and Archery target shooting, Boating, Scavenger Hunts, Crafts, and Much More! Go fishing! Shoot Bows & Arrows! Make a bulls-eye at the Shooting Sports range!

 

Unlike Day Camp, you and your family arrive at camp on Friday evening and depart Sunday, after spending three days and two nights of adventure together at camp!

Cub Scouts and their partnerreceive three full meals a day in the dining hall from out camp cook. This program is open to all boys and their families.

This program is ideal for the young scout who may not be ready to be away from home for an entire week of camp, or the parent who can't take off a whole week from work.

Adventure Weekends



Adventure Weekends are an opportunity for Scouts and parents to enjoy the great outdoors together. Scouts will explore Camp Nooteeming while working on a variety of achievements and all the Cub Scouting has to offer. Dens and Packs are encouraged to attend together.

 

Webelos Outdoor Weekends


Webelos Outdoor Weekends are a weekend of fun and Scoutcraft for Webelos Scouts and their Parent/Guardian at Camp Nooteeming and Camp Bullowa. Webelos Scouts and their Parent/Guardian are encouraged to participate as individuals or with their Webelos Den.

 

Webelos Outdoor Weekend is an adventure designed to introduce Webelos Scouts and their parents to the exciting adventures ahead in Boy Scouting, and to help them make the transition into Boy Scouting. The weekend is filled with fun activities, intriguing demonstrations, and plenty of outdoor excitement. Weebelos Scouts will have a variety of opportunities to work on activity badges based in the outdoor program.
